CALL OUT TO MEMBERS!

After a fantastic first edition of The Clinician Journal; the AAC is in the process of bringing together another fabulous issue.

If anyone would like to make any contribution, either manpower, content, design, photography or just want to get more involved; we’d love to hear from you. The AAC are looking for the Clinician to be written by Acupuncturists for Acupuncturists and Collaboration is extremely important and very welcome.

The Journal will cover a range of topics covering all aspects of Acupuncture, Western Medicine, Health and Wellbeing as well as topics surrounding business. It’s a way for us to learn more about other treatments, hone our own knowledge and connect with other practitioners within our field. To learn from their pearls of wisdom and share where we are and what we can do. The Clinician Journal would also like to host you.

As we all know we have the clinic locator on the website which really helps the general public find you and know what you offer; but that doesn’t tell other practitioners more about you or your clinic, we often refer patients and clients to colleagues and it’d be great to know more about who they refer to; why not let your colleagues to get to know you. Do you have a specific field or a special interest; it doesn’t just have to be Acupuncture, you can tell us about your other modalities and specialisations. Where have you trained? Who are you as a person? What are you passionate about?

We are putting a call out to all members to help create content for the current and future journals. It can be a few sentences to a few paragraphs, maybe drop us a picture too. It can be about you, your clinic, or your experiences as a practitioner, it’s your chance to introduce yourself to your Acupuncture colleagues in the AAC.  Let’s make the Clinician for Clinicians by Clinicians.

Also, if you would like to write an article, do an interview or have any case studies or research papers you may wish to publicise we would love to read them. These can be about your clinic or practise, your experiences as a practitioner, about a specific condition, therapy or treatment that you offer or even hints or tips to help others. Many of us practitioners have experienced ‘magic moments’ and have amazing stories of treatment outcomes that we’d love to hear about at the AAC and let your Acupuncture Colleagues know too.  Please contact us at admin@aac-org.uk.

OH, GO ON YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO! They don’t need to be long articles; it can be as little as a few sentences or if you want it could be a page. It’s completely up to you. Equally, if there’s a topic you’d love to read more about, a product, service, book, review or a professional you’d like to be interviewed; get in touch with us, our team may be able to help with this.

There are also some spaces available still for advertising.
