We are proud to share that the Association of Acupuncture Clinicians has reached 600 members — a significant milestone in just five years.
Building a professional association from the ground up is no small achievement. In a landscape where long-established organisations have been in place for decades, reaching this point reflects something important: a growing desire within the profession for choice, for fresh thinking, and for a supportive, modern approach to membership.
From the very beginning, AAC has been shaped by its members — practitioners who are committed not only to high standards of clinical practice, but also to the continued growth and evolution of acupuncture in the UK. Every new member has contributed to building a community that values professionalism, inclusivity, and progress.
Reaching 600 members is not just a number. It represents trust, shared values, and a collective belief in what AAC stands for. It also signals a shift within the profession, as more practitioners look for a professional body that reflects the realities of modern practice.
This milestone comes at an exciting time for AAC, following the success of our recent conference, where practitioners, researchers, and experts came together to share knowledge, connect, and move the profession forward. The energy and engagement seen at the event is a reflection of the strength of our growing community.
We would like to thank every one of our members for being part of this journey so far. Your support, involvement, and commitment continue to shape the future of the Association.
As part of AAC membership, practitioners benefit from a range of support designed for modern clinical practice, including professional insurance recognition pathways, access to The Clinician journal, CPD opportunities, events and conferences, and being part of a growing, supportive professional community.
We also encourage members to continue helping our community grow through our Refer a Friend scheme, a simple way to support colleagues in joining AAC while strengthening the profession together.
And this is just the beginning.
And this is just the beginning.
