AAC Mentoring Program

Join our AAC Mentoring Program to receive valuable, structured support from experienced supervisors, helping you deepen your skills and navigate challenges with confidence. Our group sessions are thoughtfully designed to provide accessible, high-quality supervision to all AAC members. All supervisors at AAC have undergone a year’s supervision training and are members of the Mentoring and Supervision Network

Program Details and Guidelines

Eligibility:
If you have participated in our free supervision offering, you are eligible to sign up for one block of AAC supervision each time, with a total of 2 blocks overall.  After completing your group supervision block(s), you are welcome to continue your supervision independently with a supervisor of your choice.

New participants in the program may complete up to two blocks of AAC supervision. This limit allows more members to benefit from the mentoring experience, fostering a diverse and inclusive learning community.

Private Arrangements:
For those interested in further supervision beyond the initial block(s), you are encouraged to arrange private sessions directly with the supervisor of your choice. This approach helps ensure that a broad range of AAC members can access supervision.

Session Commitment:
We are committed to running all scheduled group sessions at the agreed-upon times, and each block of sessions will need to have 4 participants booked to run.  This policy honours your commitment and respects the dedicated time set aside by both supervisors and members. The minimum number allows us to cover the supervisor costs and contribute to the emergency supervision fund for practitioners.

Please note that each block of AAC supervision is a paid service. We look forward to supporting you on your professional journey through these meaningful, structured sessions.
