My passion is in empowering people with knowledge and understanding so they can make informed decisions about their physical and mental health. All treatment is carefully explained and agreed with the client to make sure you are fully at ease, at all times. I graduated over 15 years ago with a Bachelor of Science in Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, affiliated to Kingston University. Since completing this course, I continue my professional development by attending advanced level training courses. These include training in the use of electro-acupuncture, treating musculo-skeletal conditions and specialist training in the pyscho-emotional aspects of Chinese Medicine. I am also an ITEC qualified Swedish Massage Therapist, a Level 2 Acceptance and Commitment Therapist and am currently training in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy. As a member of the Association of Acupuncture Clinicians and the British Acupuncture Federation, I am bound by its codes of professional conduct and safe practice, ensuring I give the highest standard of treatment. ​ My upbringing gave me an early understanding of this ancient system of health which forms the background to acupuncture treatment. This is reinforced by my practice of Tai Chi and Qi Gong. Born in Hong Kong of Chinese parents, I was raised in Yorkshire and have lived in Brighton for over 25 years. My career path has seen me move from global events manager to acupuncturist and full-time mum.
