Hello, I’m Orley. I hold a space for people where they can bring all of who they are while they rest and repair while having acupuncture treatments. They go back into their lives feeling calmer, more invigorated and connected. Over the past 13 years as an acupuncturist, I’ve developed a practice that centres creating a safe and transparent therapeutic relationship, alongside pacing and consent. While supporting people with their health and wellbeing, I’ve worked with many people who have trauma histories, are from marginalised/ historically marginalised backgrounds, have complex and/or chronic health conditions, are recovering from burnout and stress, have health issues that aren’t resolving with other types of care, or with people who are mostly well wanting to optimise their health and wellbeing for life generally, or specific events such as sports competitions and planned surgeries. I also offer Seahorse Families, a sensitive and queer centred reproductive space, open to everyone. Supporting parents in creating, growing and nurturing their own families throughout the years. My work is anti-racist, trauma informed, liberatory and affirming. I work with solo parents, couples and families of any size, through pregnancy loss, fertility optimising, trying to conceive, assisted conception, IVF and ICSI, pregnancy, preparation for labour, turning breech babies and induction. I can also support you after birth, and at any point as a parent you need to be cared for, supported, resourced and nurtured.
