I have a BSc (2.1) in Acupuncture and trained at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Castle Street in the centre of Reading. I graduated and set up my clinic in Crowthorne in 2009 and am a fully qualified, experienced Acupuncturist. My training consisted of the integration of two schools of acupuncture so I have knowledge and experience of both Traditional Chinese Medicine and Five Element Acupuncture. I have a Licence to practise acupuncture, a current First Aid Certificate and am fully insured with Balens. I am a full member of the Association of Acupuncture Clinicians which is part of the British Acupuncture Federation umbrella. Both the AAC and the BAF have robust Codes of Professional Conduct and Safe Clinical Practice and promote a high level of quality patient care. They are recognised by major medical insurance companies. ​ I have undertaken extra training in tui na massage, sports injuries, joint and back pain, gynaecology, auricular acupuncture and the treatment of addictions, eye disorders, mental-emotional illness and supporting patients with cancer. I have a special interest in women’s health, including menstruation difficulties, infertility and menopause and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Gynaecology, Fertility and Obstetrics (CICM, 2019). I have a Certificate in Counselling and a Diploma in Grief and Bereavement Counselling (Institute of Counselling, 2021), a Certificate in CBT Tools and Techniques and a Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (Institute of Counselling, 2022). I have also completed training in Focusing as part of my personal and professional development programme.
