I am a women’s health focused acupuncturist dedicated to helping clients optimise their health and well-being. It just so happened that I was at a pivotal point in my career as a 20 year Detective Inspector in the police force with a career focused on Child Protection when I came across acupuncture. I sought relief for my own lower back pain and was amazed by how these fine needles, gently placed at specific points, could profoundly boost the body’s natural healing abilities. I became hooked, not just because it worked, but also due to the fascinating science behind it. After having my own daughter I wanted to shift the focus of my life as well as my career but with a change where I could still help and support others and make a difference to people’s lives. Fast forward seven years and I have a BSc (Hons) in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine and am the proud owner of my own busy acupuncture clinic in Bournemouth, Dorset.
