Association of Acupuncture Clinicians
My approach is very calming and relaxing, allowing you the time and reassurance you need to be yourself and feel heard and understood. This is particularly relevant in chronic conditions which are often multifaceted and complex. Rather than feeling rushed, I therefore encourage patient’s with longer term complaints (3 months or more) to begin treatment with an Initial consultation, which supports a thorough traditional diagnosis and understanding of health. This session includes a detailed case history, a physical exam (including tongue, pulse and abdominal diagnosis) a proposed treatment plan, prognosis and lifestyle advice. This session also includes a 60 minute acupuncture treatment.
Encompassing all aspects of Chinese Medicine, this individualised treatment uses a range of techniques to encourage a natural healing response and improvement in normal daily functioning. Designed for short term acute pain or occasional treatment, this session may include the application of single use, disposable acupuncture needles, direct and indirect moxibustion, Infra-red TCP heat lamp, cupping, gua-sha and hands-on body work.

Shiatsu promotes a return to natural flow and balance through a range of body-work and massage techniques. Often described as deeply relaxing and nourishing, you can expect both gentle and dynamic touch, movement and manipulation, to realign and invigorate the body. This 60 minute individual session also includes an exploratory case history, aftercare and lifestyle advice.
Encouraging regular and preventative treatment, this package of 3 individual treatments help to maintain optimal health at a reduced price.
This treatment offers a very nourishing and calming experience, often used to support emotional healing, relieving stress, anxiety and overwhelm, as well as providing great comfort during end of life care. Reiki involves placing the hands on or slightly above the body to channel healing energy where it is needed most. The patient often describes a sensation of warmth and nourishment bringing an overall feeling of deep calm and peace, like a hug from within. If you wish to optimise your reiki experience over a few sessions, Block of 3 treatments are also available and are recommended for all new patients and longer term complaints.
