About the clinic

Hello, I’m Sarah, the owner and practitioner at Olive Tree Wellbeing, based in my home clinic in Brackley, Northamptonshire. My work is rooted in over two decades of experience in beauty, holistic therapies, and Chinese medicine — all dedicated to helping people restore balance and wellbeing. Professional Life My professional journey began in 1996, when I studied Beauty Therapy and Massage at West Thames College in Isleworth, West London. From the very start, I was fascinated by how touch and energy could transform both physical and emotional wellbeing. After qualifying in: Beauty Therapy (Aesthetician) – ITEC (1997) Electrolysis – ITEC Anatomy & Physiology – ITEC Massage – ITEC Salon Business Administration I began my career at a spa near Heathrow Airport, where I continued developing my skills in Indian Head Massage, Reiki, and Reflexology. I later achieved a City & Guilds qualification in Teaching, allowing me to share my knowledge as a Lecturer in Beauty Therapy and Reflexology at West Thames College. After moving to Brackley and taking time to start my family, I returned to teaching at Soul Energy in Kings Sutton. Having worked in various professional environments — spas, salons, and rented therapy rooms — I realised my dream in 2008: creating my own space, Olive Tree Wellbeing. Running Olive Tree from home has allowed me to combine family life with my passion for helping others, offering treatments in a peaceful, nurturing setting. Over the years, I’ve trained extensively in: Thai Table & Herbal Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Japanese Face Massage, Lymphatic Massage, Hawaiian Massage, Seated Chair Massage, Aromatherapy, Trigger Point Therapy, Deep Tissue Massage, and Ear Candling. Discovering Chinese Medicine A deep curiosity about natural healing eventually led me to Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. I embarked on a five-year course at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London, completing: Biomedicine (1 year) Naturopathy (2 years) Acupuncture (3 years) I graduated in 2017, and later that year, travelled to China for postgraduate training — an unforgettable and transformative experience. That same year, Olive Tree Wellbeing was awarded Best Complementary Therapy Centre in Northamptonshire by Muddy Stilettos, as voted by my wonderful clients. Continued Learning and Expertise I am passionate about expanding my knowledge to offer the very best care for my clients. My additional training includes: Acupuncture & Fertility and Menopause Support – Paul Johnson, City College London Meridian Wave Therapy – Amos Ziv Flow of the Hand & Needle Parts 1 & 2 – Sarah Pritchard Cosmetic Acupuncture – Sahar Hooti, Harley Street Scalp Acupuncture – Prof. T. Wang Applied Channel Theory – Michael Phoenix, East West College, Reading Master Tung Acupuncture & Bleeding Techniques – Philip Weeks Chinese Herbal Medicine Diploma (Level 7) – Phoenix Academy Classical Chinese Herbal Formulas – Phoenix Academy Medical Phlebotomy & Skin Cancer Awareness Magnet Therapy I also attended a cadaver anatomy dissection course to deepen my understanding of the body and continue to blend traditional Eastern practices with modern medical insight.

Bio
Meet Sarah – Founder of Olive Tree Wellbeing My career has always been more than a profession — it’s a lifelong journey of curiosity, compassion, and connection. From my early days as a beauty therapist to becoming a holistic practitioner and now an acupuncturist, every step has shaped how I care for others. I’ve learned that true wellness isn’t just about easing symptoms — it’s about restoring balance, calming the mind, and supporting the whole person. Living and working in Brackley allows me to maintain that same balance in my own life — staying close to family, nature, and community, while continuing to learn and grow both personally and professionally. At Olive Tree, I bring together everything I’ve learned — from ancient healing traditions to modern therapeutic approaches — to help each client feel supported, understood, and revitalised. Thank you for taking the time to read my story. I look forward to welcoming you to Olive Tree Wellbeing. Warm regards, Sarah x
