I practice traditional Chinese medicine including acupuncture, Tui Na massage and herbal medicine, in Carshalton Beeches, south London. I serve clients from Carshalton, Wallington, Sutton, Coulsdon, Hackbridge, Mitcham, Colliers Wood, Wimbledon, Morden, Purley, wider Surrey and London. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in acupuncture and gained post-graduate diplomas in Tui Na massage and in herbal medicine from the London College of Traditional Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (LCTA, London – affiliated with Portsmouth university) where I studied for five years. I furthered my training in Chinese medicine by work-shadowing Chinese doctors in a large and busy hospital in Hangzhou, China. I trained in Facial Revitalization (both acupuncture and massage/acupressure), pre- and post-natal Tui Na massage, auricular and scalp acupuncture, Tung acupuncture and in medical Qi Gong. By using acupuncture, Tui Na massage and/or Chinese herbal medicine, I am able to address a wide range of health conditions including: gyneacological (e.g. PCOS, infertility), muscles/tendons/ligaments dysfunctions (e.g. back/neck pain, arthritis, RSI, sciatica), digestive disorders (e.g. IBS, Crowns disease), mental/emotional problems, insomnia, headaches/migraines, neurological conditions (e.g. stroke, MS) and much more. You can read some reviews from my patients here. During a treatment I may use both acupuncture and Tui Na massage together. I may also use Cupping and Gua Sha (a painless scrapping technique to get rid of stubborn painful knots). Chinese herbal medicine may be a useful complement to acupuncture or massage or it may simply be taken on its own. Whatever I think is needed for my patients, I always discuss my treatment plan with them. I am a member of the Association of Acupuncture Clinicians, British Acupuncture Federation and of the Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine (RCHM).
