Bio
While my expertise centers around addressing digestive and respiratory concerns, I’ve had success in treating a plethora of conditions, spanning from musculoskeletal issues, chronic pain, and gynecological disorders, to insomnia and depression. My approach weaves together nutrition, herbs, acupuncture, movement, massage, moxibustion, cupping, and lifestyle guidance. In 2015, while nestled in the bustling heart of New York City, I pioneered an Integrative Medicine rehabilitation center. There, I amalgamated Traditional Chinese Medicine with cutting-edge scientific research, carving a niche for myself as a Nutritional Consultant. My incessant quest for knowledge has seen me devour literature on diets and nutrition over 15 years. I remain abreast of the latest in clinical dietary studies as a proud member of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM). My academic journey saw me graduate as an Acupuncturist and Herbalist from the esteemed “European School of Acupuncture and TCM” in Barcelona, a collaboration with Shanghai and Nanjing universities. I then sought enlightenment from the disciples of the late Dr. Wang Ju Yi from Beijing, namely Jonathan Chang and Jason Robertson, and became an official practitioner of Applied Channel Theory. My pursuit of knowledge expanded as I earned a diploma in Zheng Gu Tui Na (Chinese massage and bone-setting) under the guidance of the renowned Tom Bisio in 2019, followed by another diploma in Advanced Tuina from Sarah Pritchard in 2023. Over the years, I’ve been also privileged to train with luminaries like Jason Blalack, Volker Scheid, Chien-Fu Liao & Heiner Fruehauf. My expertise in movement analysis is a tapestry of training in Yoga, Feldenkrais, Horton, Pilates, Xing Yi Quan, Ballet, and Chinese Internal Martial Arts. In 2022, I commenced my volunteer work as an acupuncturist with “The Disability Foundation” (TDF), a commendable charity provides complementary therapy services to disabled people, anyone suffering from a chronic health issue or medical condition, as well as those involved in their care, including NHS staff. Presently, I also offer treatments at Nicola Court: Path to Wellbeing in Harlow. If you seek healing within the Essex and Hertfordshire region, I invite you to book an appointment. In addition to my practice, I serve as Acupuncture Clinical Supervisor at the Northern College of Acupuncture. If you are in London and looking for treatments, you can book an appointment at the Southwark clinic via this link. (Please note, treatments will be carried out by students under my supervision.) I also serve on the editorial committee of ‘The Clinician’ (the journal of the Association of Acupuncture Clinicians, UK). London is now my home, where every day I embrace my passion: to better lives by enhancing their quality. I’m anchored in the belief that true health and balance pave the way for a profound, meaningful existence.
