I’m a Traditional Acupuncturist which means I use acupuncture to treat symptoms of the mind and body, based on traditional Chinese medicine theory. I trained at Leeds Beckett University and graduated with a BSc Honours in Acupuncture in 2012. Since then I have worked in a variety of settings, including a multi-bed acupuncture clinic and physiotherapy practice. I’m passionate about the holistic approach to health & well-being and enjoy supporting patients on their journey to better health. I have experience treating a wide range of conditions. I have a particular interest in women’s health and using acupuncture to reduce stress and promote relaxation. I regularly undertake CPD and have recently completed a comprehensive Menopause Masterclass and a Fertility Treatment and Planning workshop with Zita West. At your initial consultation I will take a detailed case history from you, take your pulses and examine your tongue. This information will enable me to formulate a TCM diagnosis and treatment plan. Your bespoke treatment plan will focus on improving your health issues and overall feelings of wellbeing. Your progress will be reviewed at each appointment and your treatment plan adjusted accordingly. I can also offer lifestyle advice based on the principles of Chinese medicine, which can easily be implemented into your daily life.
