After a career in housing and education, Duey relocated to Yorkshire, where he retrained in acupuncture and sees Chinese Medicine as an important and valuable route to healing that supports physical and emotional wellbeing. He has a passion for helping others and sharing the enormous benefits of this practice. In addition to acupuncture, Duey includes, where necessary, electro-acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion and massage as a part of his treatments. He treats a wide range of conditions and has particular interests in treating musculoskeletal conditions including sciatica and lower back pain, anxiety and low mood, digestive disorders, migraines, hormonal imbalance, including offering menopausal support. Duey graduated with a BSc (Hons) degree in Acupuncture from the Northern College of Acupuncture in York. He is a member of the Association of Acupuncture Clinicians (AAC). His acupuncture practice serves the areas of Huddersfield, the Holme Valley and Saddleworth. He treats at the following clinics: Clinic 118 in Holmfirth and Nurture Yoga & Therapy Centre in Saddleworth. Duey abides by the AAC’s strict code of conduct on ethics and safe practice, is registered with Kirklees and Oldham Environmental Health Departments and is fully insured.
