Association of Acupuncture Clinicians

About the clinic

Caitlin has been practising acupuncture in Leeds since 2005 and is joined by Rachael Thompson and Anne Gledhill, both of whom have a passion for acupuncture. All of us became acupuncturists having seen the benefits for ourselves of treatment. The benefits we see from treatment continue to inspire and motivate us and our mission is to provide a healing space for you in which you feel safe, supported and in which we can help you feel at your best physically and mentally. Many of our clients tell us that we offer them hope, warmth and positivity. We offer a friendly, professional service and look forward to supporting you in your journey back to better health and greater wellbeing.

Treatment List

  • Initial Consultation £65.00

We welcome you into our clinic to learn more about you. We will ask about your presenting issue and more about your physical and emotional health, as in Traditional Chinese Medicine we are putting a jigsaw puzzle together in a different way. We then offer you some acupuncture to try and can talk more about what we recommend as a treatment plan. Usually a course of sessions are recommended as the benefits build gradually.

  • Follow Up Session £55.00

Bio
I love being an acupuncturist and I’m still amazed by how much acupuncture can offer and the results that I see. I was previously a counsellor and wanted to continue to support people, but in a different way. I also train, mentor and supervise other acupuncturists, and it’s really important to me that as practitioners we continue to look after ourselves and build our skills so that we can best support you. My first experience of acupuncture was nine months after a car crash. No other therapies had helped very much and I was convinced that I’d be on heavy duty painkillers for life. Acupuncture resolved the pain and gradually gave me back my life! I continue to have acupuncture regularly and love the ‘acupuncture nap” that I have on the couch! I have been taught so much by my clients, including those experiencing infertility and miscarriage. Although my own fertility journey, involving IVF and plans to adopt, left me childless, I do believe there is life after infertility. I love working with people as they move through the different stages of life and transitions and see that acupuncture can help so much emotionally as well as physically.
