About Robert Goodman, LicAc, BA (Oxon) I am a fully qualified, professional acupuncturist working from three clinics in Bristol. I studied for three years at The College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading and at The Acupuncture Academy in Leamington Spa, graduating with a distinction in the Professional Licentiate in Acupuncture. I am fully insured and adhere to high professional standards in my clinical work. I am a full member of the Association of Acupuncture Clinicians (AAC), the British Acupuncture Federation (BAF) and the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC). I am local authority licensed. I also hold a BA Honours degree in Human Sciences from St Catherine’s College, Oxford and a Post-graduate Certificate of Education from the Institute of Education in London. An Honours Degree-Level Professional Licentiate is the industry standard qualification and strikes a balance between the skills needed for the highest level of individualised patient care, and the academic and scientific knowledge required of all modern day health professionals. The three year course is accredited by the British Acupuncture Accreditation Board (BAAB.co.uk), and covers acupuncture theory, clinical skills, point location, conventional medical sciences, research and professional development.
