Acupuncture clinic

Treatment List

  • Initial Consultation and first treatment (up to 2 hours) £75.00

An in depth look at your health and well-being, including your lifestyle, medical history and ongoing issues from an holistic viewpoint, followed by your first acupuncture treatment.

  • On-going treatments (45-50 minutes) £50.00

Each weekly follow up treatment builds on previous treatments and takes into account your feedback, any changes to your conditions and any new presentations. I recommend that you aim to have 5 treatments initially (including the Consultation/first treatment) though often acute conditions improve sooner. The longer you have had a health issue, generally the longer it takes to improve and treatments are spaced out according to improvement. Each treatment is individually planned according to your feedback and diagnostic presentation at the clinic that day.

Practitioner Name
Christine Poolton
Bio
I trained as a Mature Student for 3 years to degree level at the Acupuncture Academy in Leamington Spa qualifying in 2015 primarily in Five element Acupuncture. My training was extensive and covered all aspects of Chinese medical and acupuncture theory. Study also included Western biomedicine. I am a member of the Association of Acupuncture Clinicians (AAC) and British Acupuncture Council (BAcC). I am licenced by Solihull Council, am fully insured to practice and hold a current First Aid Certificate. I have lived in Solihull for 35 years, and am into my 10th year of post-graduation practice. Continuing Professional Development is an ongoing annual requirement. Post graduate tutors have included Professor Jong Baik specialising in Korean Hand Therapy and multi therapy approaches to issues. I have experience in many conditions presented in clinic over my 10 years in practice. Whether you have difficulty sleeping, have sciatica, tennis elbow, anxiety, menopause or just feel “out of sorts”, then acupuncture may be able to help you. My objective is to balance and restore you to good health looking at root causes of issues rather than just treating the symptoms directly.
