Before treatment, your complete health history is discussed and presenting symptoms are analysed and considered in relation to your energetic, physical, mental and emotional health. Your tongue will be checked and your pulses taken. Acupuncture points are then selected according to your individual diagnosis. Treatment involves the shallow insertion of fine, sterile, single use acupuncture needles which remain in place, while you relax, for approximately twenty minutes.
