About the clinic

I now work from my home clinic in Nailsworth, Monday to Friday between 9.30 am to 6.30 pm, with alternate Mondays working in Solihull in the West Midlands where I see clients from my previous clinic of 10 years. There is good access with on-street or private parking. I provide a quiet and safe space for you to relax and talk about your health issues in complete confidence. If you would like to discuss anything or ask any questions prior to booking with me I provide a free 20 minute telephone consultation or you can come along and meet me by prior arrangement. Please always leave a message when phoning as I am often in clinic and can’t answer my phone. Alternatively please just email me. Five Element Acupuncture is very personalised and works within the bounds of nature, helping us to live with Nature and follow the Seasons and our biological clocks rather than fighting against them and is a fabulous opportunity for you to understand yourself and your health better and to learn life-long lessons about how to safeguard your own health. Many Insurers accept Acupuncture treatments so please either check the AAC Website for details or contact your Insurer directly to check.

Treatment List

  • Consultation up to 2 hours £75.00

    An in depth look at your health and wellbeing, including your lifestyle, medical history and ongoing issues from an holistic viewpoint, followed by your first acupuncture treatment.

  • Follow up treatment up to 1 hour £50.00

    Each weekly follow up treatment builds on previous treatments and takes into account your feedback, any changes to your conditions and any new presentations. I recommend that you aim to have 5 treatments initially (including the Consultation/first treatment) though often acute conditions improve sooner. The longer you have had a health issue, generally the longer it takes to improve and treatments are spaced out according to improvement. Each treatment is individually planned according to your feedback and diagnostic presentation at the clinic that day.

I work from my home clinic in Nailsworth near Stroud. I obtained my Degree and Licenciate (Lic/Ac) in Traditional Acupuncture as a mature student 14 years ago at the renowned College of Traditional Acupuncture (C.T.A.) in Warwickshire. I am fully insured and Registered with Stroud District Council. I am constantly updating my skills and completed a 2 year Post-Graduate Programme in Five Element Acupuncture with Niki Bilton, who taught at C.T.A. and continues to teach around the world. Continuing Professional Development is a requirement of my Governing Body, the AAC. I have lots of life experience and am a really good listener so you will be in good hands. My focus will be on restoring your natural good health, balance and wellbeing, working with you to bring this about. Often I find that 5 Element Acupuncture works for conditions that have been resistant to other forms of treatment as it addresses the “root cause” of “dis-ease” rather than the symptom(s) directly, unblocking the mind and body to allow balance to prevail and for you to return to your best health.
