Hello, I’m Ilana Garsin, an experienced acupuncturist based in the beautiful village of Bricket Wood, St Albans. With over 16 years of experience, I specialise in women’s health, with particular expertise in fertility, IVF support, menstrual health, pregnancy, and menopause. My interest in women’s health is both professional and personal. Having experienced my own fertility journey, becoming a mother later in life and navigating perimenopause, I understand first-hand the physical and emotional challenges that many women face. This experience allows me to support my patients with both clinical expertise and genuine compassion. I hold a BSc (Hons) in Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture and a BSc (Hons) in Molecular Biology. I have undertaken extensive postgraduate training in fertility acupuncture, including an Advanced Diploma in Fertility Support with Naava Carman of The Fertility Support Company, one of the UK’s leading fertility acupuncture educators. This specialist training enables me to integrate traditional Chinese medicine with an understanding of Western fertility testing, IVF protocols, and reproductive medicine. I am also an affiliate practitioner of The Fertility Suite, working alongside a network of fertility specialists, consultants, nutritionists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive support for patients trying to conceive. This collaborative approach ensures that no stone is left unturned when investigating fertility challenges. As a Fertility Support trained practitioner, I regularly support patients with: • Natural conception • IVF, IUI and ICSI treatment support • Recurrent miscarriage • Unexplained infertility • PCOS and endometriosis • Low sperm count and male fertility concerns • Pregnancy preparation and support Alongside fertility care, I also treat a wide range of conditions including pain, headaches, anxiety, stress, insomnia, digestive issues, and menopause symptoms.
