Medical Phlebotomy information post training

Congratulations on passing your Medical Phlebotomy course!

Please remember to send your CPD Certificated to Balens (if you are insured with them).  You can email them at info@balens.co.uk.  Please email your certificate and include:

• Your full name
• Full Address (including Postcode)
• Tell them that it is to include under your BAF Affinity Scheme.

You should incur no extra cost with Balens as we have negotiated to have this included under our policies.

You may wish to download and ask your patients to sign a Phlebotomy Consent form

Forth 

As you know, we have a partnership with Forth who offer test kits that are both pinprick and phlebotomy.  The client can choose either method to conduct the test.  We attach some “how to Guides” below but there is also a video in the website members area with further details.

Genova Diagnostics

Now you have completed your phlebotomy course you can be listed on Genova Diagnostic’s website as a medical phlebotomist that clients can visit and have tests done.  Some of the Genova tests require serum which will need a centrifuge.  You only need a low end centrifuge for the tests.   We will be sending our more information from Genova shortly and you will have been sent information about their webinars where they go through all of the most popular 5 tests – not all of which require blood withdrawal.  To sign up, please see the attached form and you will also find specific instructions on blood withdrawal from Genova.   If you have any questions or you have completed the form please send to –ALivings@gdx.net and cc admin@aac-org.uk.
