About the clinic

Supporting, mind, body and long-term wellness. With over a decade of experience and a lifelong relationship with acupuncture, I’m here to support your journey toward better health—physically and emotionally. I’m a fully qualified acupuncturist, trained at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, where I studied both Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Five Element Acupuncture. This integrative approach allows me to treat a wide range of conditions—from chronic pain and digestive disorders to anxiety, fatigue, hormonal imbalance, fertility, and much more. Whether you’re navigating a specific health challenge, going through a life transition, or simply seeking to maintain balance and vitality as you age, acupuncture offers powerful support. I charge a flat fee for all treatments — there’s no extra cost for fertility support.

Treatment List

  • Initial Consultation - 90 minutes £80.00

Step 1 Consultation At your first visit, we’ll begin with an in-depth consultation to understand your full health picture. This includes: Your current symptoms and medical history Lifestyle, diet, stress levels, and emotional wellbeing Pulse and tongue diagnosis (traditional Chinese medicine tools) This comprehensive intake helps me identify the root causes of your symptoms and create a personalised treatment plan tailored to your needs. Step 2 Treatment After the consultation, you’ll receive your first acupuncture treatment. I’ll gently insert very fine, sterile needles at specific acupuncture points on your body. Most people find this painless and deeply relaxing. You’ll rest for 20–30 minutes during the session, often entering a meditative, restful state. Depending on your condition, I may also include cupping therapy, moxibustion, or gua sha to support your healing. I charge a flat fee for all treatments — there’s no extra cost for fertility support.

  • Follow Up Appointment - 60 minutes £60.00

After your initial consultation and first treatment, our journey together continues with follow-up sessions designed to support both your short-term and long-term health needs. Every body tells a story. Many conditions have taken years to manifest, and part of my role is to gently help the mind, body, and soul release energies that no longer serve you. Acupuncture allows us to peel back the layers — clearing blockages, restoring balance, and creating space for your natural vitality to flow again. In the short term, follow-up treatments focus on easing your immediate symptoms and bringing you relief. In the long term, we work together to address the root causes, building resilience and maintaining harmony in your system. Each session is unique because your energy will guide the way. As one layer is released, another may reveal itself — showing us where to focus next. This natural unfolding helps us reach a deeper level of healing, step by step. Your follow-up treatments are always led by your needs in the moment, while keeping an eye on your bigger picture of wellbeing.

Bio
Hello, I’m Fran, an experienced acupuncturist based in Brimscombe, Stroud, Gloucestershire, offering a holistic and personalised approach to healing. I’ve been professionally practising acupuncture for over 10 years, but my relationship with this powerful medicine began long before that. As a teenager, I turned to acupuncture to help manage my own health challenges—and it’s supported me through every stage of life since. This personal journey inspired me to train as a practitioner so I could help others access the same lasting benefits. I trained at the highly respected College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, where I studied both Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Five Element Acupuncture. This integrated training allows me to treat a wide range of conditions—addressing not just the symptoms but the root cause, while supporting emotional balance and long-term wellbeing. I’m also trained in Chinese Cupping Therapy, which is especially effective for muscle tension, stress relief, and boosting circulation. My approach is gentle, intuitive and client-focused. Whether you’re seeking acupuncture for stress and anxiety, digestive problems like IBS, hormonal imbalances, fertility issues, chronic or acute pain, or general health maintenance, I tailor each treatment to meet your unique needs. I believe the body instinctively knows how to be well—and acupuncture simply gives it the space and nudge it needs to remember. I’m proud to serve the local community from my peaceful acupuncture clinic in Brimscombe, welcoming clients from across Stroud, Nailsworth, Minchinhampton, and the wider Gloucestershire area. I’m fully licensed and insured, and a registered member of the Association of Acupuncture Clinicians (AAC), adhering to the highest standards of care and safety. If you’re curious about how acupuncture can support your health—whether you’re navigating a specific issue or looking to stay well into the future—I’d love to support you on your healing path.
