Advanced Moxibustion Skills

Usually based in Spain, Felip takes this course around the world and has agreed to come to the UK to teach a course over 9 days (3 days per month) beginning in September.  Felip specialises in Japanese moxibustion, having studied Fukaya Style with moxibustion masters Tetsuya Fukushima and Hideo Shinma (son of Master Fukaya) for many years. Currently, Felip is the world reference in the Style and the fourth recognised lineage teacher of Fukaya moxibustion due to his developments and contributions to the Style and we are honoured to have him come to deepen our knowledge here in the UK and run his Advanced Moxa Course.

This Advanced Course is unique because it is based in the traditional concepts of Japanese moxibustion. The goal is for it to be so immersive that you will learn you how the moxibustion practitioner approaches a patient and you will think like a moxibustion practitioner. You will learn from 0 to 100 about moxibustion.

The course begins by providing a solid base on moxa physiology, the Japanese understanding and the basic techniques and leads to one of the most valued and powerful moxa styles: Fukaya Style of moxibustion.

SEMINAR III

• Fascia and moxa. The future.
• Direct Technique III (Tonetsukyu). The speed.
• Introduction to the Fukaya style.
• Palpation III
• Indirect Technique III (Shiokyu)
• Treatments III

This is a 9 day in-person course is at Acumedic, 105 Camden High Street, Camden, London NW1 7JN with Felip Caudet.  This is the first time that this course has been run in the UK.

You must be 18 years or older and understand spoken and written English.
You must consent to giving and receiving palpation, acupuncture and moxibustion.
